The Cadet and Junior Asian Cup Tashkent 2026, dedicated to the memory of the late Uchqun Murodov, has concluded in Tashkent.
At the tournament, Uzbekistan’s youth national team secured first place in the overall standings, winning a total of 33 medals, including 9 gold, 9 silver, and 15 bronze medals. The national teams of the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan also finished among the top three.
Termez State University student Iskandar Mamayusupov made a significant contribution to this success. Competing in the junior men's +100 kg weight category, he advanced to the final and won a silver medal, contributing to the overall triumph of the national team.
