From 25 to 30 April 2026, the III International Dance Festival “Lazgi” was held in the city of Khiva. Teams and solo performers from more than 10 countries took part in the festival and delivered outstanding performances. Representing the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mohira Jovliyeva, a 2nd-year student of the “Choreographic Ensemble Leadership” program at the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, participated with a solo dance performance and became the Grand Prix winner of the festival. On behalf of the Academy community, we sincerely congratulate M. Jovliyeva on this high achievement and wish her great success in her future creative endeavors.
