“I found a stone in sumalak” — the spirit of Navruz at the university!
Today, the Professors’ Garden at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was adorned with traditional adras and atlas fabrics, transforming it into a truly festive space.
The Sumalak festival began, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate Navruz—one of the most treasured national holidays—with great enthusiasm. Traditional dishes, music, dances, and warm conversations added a special charm to the celebration.
In this uplifting atmosphere, the university leadership also joined the event. Representatives led by the Rector explored the exhibition displays, participated in the traditional sumalak stirring ceremony, and shared heartfelt wishes.
The sounds of music filled the air, creating a genuine праздничная atmosphere across the campus. With the heartfelt wish, “May every day be like Navruz,” students and faculty embraced the joy of dance, music, and celebration.
