International cooperation relations between Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute and Giresun University are reaching a new stage of development.
At Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, the Rector’s Cup and the Student League competitions were held.
Currently, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy at Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute Elbek Abdumannatov, along with lecturers from the Foreign Languages Department Chekhrangiz Asadova and Maftuna Ahmadova, are on an official business trip to Giresun University. Within the framework of a signed memorandum of cooperation, they are participating in a series of meetings and negotiations.
➡️ Discussions were held with the university rector Yılmaz Can, Dean of the Faculty of Education Güven Özdem, and Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Osman Albayrak regarding promising areas of cooperation.
The parties reached agreements in the following priority areas:
- expansion of academic exchange programs for staff and students and improvement of academic mobility systems;
- launch of joint “1+1” degree programs for undergraduate (English language) and master’s (pedagogy) levels;
- professional development of teaching staff and joint study and implementation of innovative teaching methodologies and modern pedagogical technologies.
➡️ At the conclusion of the negotiations, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation further, implement the outlined tasks step by step, and expand joint scientific and educational projects.
