March 1 – is the birthday of Zulfia, the national poetess of Uzbekistan!

The famous Uzbek poetress Zulfiya was born on March 1, 1915 in Tashkent. All her life, the poetess worked in the field of journalism and publishing. In 1938-1948, he worked as the editor of the “Bolalar” publishing house, the head of the department of the state publishing house of Uzbekistan, the head of the department at the “Saodat” magazine until 1953, and the editor-in-chief of this magazine from 1953 to 1980 – for about thirty years.

The poetess that charmed millions of hearts with her elegant poetry who was a wife of the great Uzbek poet Hamid Olimjon died on August 1, 1996. The life path of the queen of poetry will remain a symbol of true devotion and loyalty for all generations.
