Namangan – Austria: a new stage in tourism education has begun!

During the visit to the IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences located in the city of Krems, the Uzbek delegation got closely acquainted with the university's advanced experience in tourism economics and chemical sciences, as well as its modern laboratories.

At the end of the negotiations, a number of important agreements were reached:

• signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NamSTU and IMC Krems;
• launching a 2+1 joint education program in "Hotel Management" based at the Technical School No. 1 under NamSTU located in the Chortoq district;
• introducing professional development programs for technical school teachers based on Austrian experience;
• launching joint education programs in "Tourism and Hospitality" in cooperation between NamSTU and IMC Krems.

This cooperation will elevate the tourism potential of the Namangan region to a new level!
At the same time, it will create a solid foundation for training competitive specialists who meet international standards.
