Nearly 60 Documents Signed During the First Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan
On May 28, the First Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions was held under the theme "Uzbekistan – Azerbaijan: Priority Directions for the Development of Cooperation in Higher Education". A plenary session took place on the first day of the forum.
During the event, reports were presented on prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of higher education, science, and innovation, including academic exchange, joint educational programs, and research projects. Participants also shared experiences and best practices.
The forum was attended by Shokhrukh Daliyev, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan; Idris Isayev, Deputy Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan; as well as heads of higher education institutions from both countries. Bilateral meetings were held within the forum to discuss joint initiatives aimed at deepening practical cooperation and improving the quality of education.
