New areas of cooperation in the field of legal assistance, science, and social protection
Tashkent State University of Law has signed memoranda of cooperation with the "Vatandoshlar" public foundation and the non-governmental non-profit organization "Ishonch va Hayot."
Within this cooperation, aimed at implementing joint projects in the legal, scientific-educational, and social fields, providing practical legal assistance to various segments of the population, and combining scientific potential, it is envisaged to expand the system of free legal aid by using the capabilities of the TSUL Legal Clinic.
In particular, within the framework of joint initiatives, it is envisaged to:
— provide legal consultation to Uzbek citizens and compatriots living abroad;
— provide legal and practical assistance to persons living with HIV and other groups in need of social protection;
— conduct joint scientific research on pressing legal and social issues;
— organize scientific-practical conferences, seminars, and trainings;
— jointly develop legal manuals, methodological recommendations, and educational materials.
This cooperation also creates new opportunities for TSUL students. They will have the opportunity to participate in real social-legal projects, work with citizens, analyze practical legal issues, and strengthen their professional skills.
