Prospects for International Cooperation with Representatives of an Indonesian University
An important meeting aimed at further expanding international cooperation and developing research activities was held at Termez University of Economics and Service. The meeting was attended by professors and lecturers from Indonesia’s Pendidikan University, as well as the management and academic staff of Termez University of Economics and Service.
During the meeting, the current status and future prospects of cooperation between the two higher education institutions were discussed. Special attention was paid to creating new opportunities in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
The parties exchanged views on implementing joint research projects, participating together in international grants, preparing scientific articles and monographs, as well as establishing academic exchange programs for professors, lecturers, and students. In addition, proposals were made regarding the introduction of modern educational technologies into the learning process, improving the quality of scientific research, and strengthening the reputation of universities in international rankings.
Furthermore, a seminar-training session was organized at Termez University of Economics and Service with the participation of representatives of Pendidikan University of Indonesia in order to enhance the scientific potential of academic staff, increase their activity in the international research community, and further develop scientific research activities.
During the seminar, participants received detailed information on modern requirements for publishing articles in prestigious international scientific journals, particularly publications indexed in the Scopus database, as well as on scientific writing methodology, research planning, and effective presentation of research findings.
During the training, foreign experts focused on the main stages of preparing scientific articles, selecting research topics, formulating scientific problems and research questions, determining appropriate methodological approaches, working with academic sources, and complying with international standards of research ethics.
Practical recommendations were also provided on selecting journals indexed in Scopus and other international scientific databases, successfully passing the peer-review process, responding to reviewers’ comments and recommendations, and understanding the impact of scientific research on international rankings.
