Respect for Navoi — Respect for the Nation

On the occasion of the 585th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi, the sultan of the realm of words and founder of Uzbek classical literature, Termez University of Economics and Service held a spiritual and educational event entitled “Alisher Navoi — Pride of the Nation.”

During the event, university students presented theatrical performances dedicated to the life and works of Alisher Navoi. Through these artistic performances, the thinker’s life journey, his outstanding contribution to science and literature, and the high human values promoted in his works were vividly portrayed.

The event also featured expressive readings of ghazals and rubaiyat from Navoi’s works, accompanied by classical and contemporary melodies and songs. It was particularly emphasized that Navoi’s works are not only literary masterpieces, but also invaluable sources that guide the younger generation toward spiritual and moral excellence.
