“Responsible Parenthood”: Seminar-trainings Continue
Today, the conscious attitude of young people towards family life, child upbringing, and social responsibility is considered one of the key factors in the development of society. For this purpose, a seminar-training on the topic “Responsible Parenthood” was organized at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kokand State University. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Nigorakhon Erkaboyeva; Chairwoman of the Women’s Advisory Council of Kokand State University, Barnokhon Khasanova; University Psychologist, Nargizakhon Khojanazarova; Dean’s Advisor on Women’s Issues, Khurshidakhon Rakhimova; Deputy Dean, Dilafruzhon Rakhmatullayeva; tutors and female students. The main goal of the seminar-training was to guide young people to adopt a conscious approach to values such as building a family, raising children, mutual respect, compassion, and responsibility.
During the event, participants discussed the essence of the concept of “responsible parenthood,” its psychological and social significance. Through group activities, interactive Q&A sessions, and stage performances, students strengthened their skills in thinking, analysis, and defending their viewpoints.
In her speech, the faculty advisor on women’s issues, Khurshidakhon Rakhimova, stated:
“Responsible parenthood is not just about raising a child; it is about guiding them on the right path, educating through love, care, and personal example. Every young person should begin to feel this responsibility today.”
This event played an important role in increasing social responsibility among young people, fostering respect for family values, and shaping the culture of future responsible parenthood.
