“Sumalak Sayli” Festival Held at TISU
At the initiative of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Sciences and Humanities of Termez University of Economics and Service, a “Sumalak Sayli” Festival was organized on the university campus. The event is being held to preserve and promote national values and strengthen unity and solidarity among students and young people.
Faculty members and students joined together to prepare sumalak. While sumalak is being cooked on one side, pilaf is being prepared on the other. Students are actively assisting with the preparation of sumalak. National songs and melodies are being performed throughout the event, creating a festive and cheerful atmosphere.
As part of the “Sumalak Sayli” Festival at Termez University of Economics and Service, sports competitions were also organized among students. Competitions are being held in football, volleyball, tug-of-war and arm wrestling, with students from different faculties actively participating. Intense and competitive matches are taking place on the sports fields. At the end of the competitions, the winners and prize-winners are scheduled to receive diplomas and commemorative gifts.
