The “16 Days of Activism Against Violence” campaign has begun !

“Let’s Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women” — the 16-Day Activism Campaign Has Started In 1999, the UN General Assembly designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. In this regard, the “16 Days of Activism” campaign is traditionally held in our country.

At the initiative of the Women’s Advisory Council of Kokand State University, meetings and discussions on the topic “Let’s unite to end digital violence against women” are being organized across all faculties this year as well.

The opening ceremony of the campaign events was held at the Faculty of Arts and Sports. Speakers provided detailed information on the legal and regulatory foundations for protecting women from harassment and violence, the systemic reforms being carried out in this area in our country, as well as the concept of violence and its various forms.

Additionally, at the Faculty of Humanities and Languages, the Women’s Advisory Council, in cooperation with the non-governmental non-profit organization “Ezgu Niyat,” organized a round-table discussion titled “Strength in Unity — No Place for Violence.” Participants exchanged views on the need to adopt an uncompromising attitude toward all forms of violence, the importance of not remaining silent, and promoting digital culture among students.
