The creative skills of female students were showcased at the event
On the occasion of March 8 — International Women’s Day, the Faculty of Arts and Sports at Kokand State University organized a creative drawing competition titled “Spring is as Beautiful as Women.” The event was held to develop the creative potential of female students, increase their interest in visual arts, and express the beauty of the spring season and the elegance of the female image through art.
All students from every year of the faculty actively participated in the competition. Through their creative works, participants reflected the theme of spring, the awakening of nature, the beauty of flowers, as well as the elegance and kindness of the female image. Students created their artworks based on color harmony, composition, and artistic thinking, and presented them before the jury.
During the event, the students’ works expressed not only the charm of spring and the awakening of nature but also female affection, maternal and sisterly care, as well as various artistic ideas portrayed through the perspective of modern youth. Each participant’s work demonstrated an individual approach and unique artistic style. The jury evaluated the works based on color harmony, thematic expression, level of thought, and creativity.
At the end of the competition, winners were determined: authors of the highest-scoring works were awarded certificates of honor and commemorative gifts. All participants were also thanked for their active involvement. Faculty professors emphasized their appreciation of students’ interest in art and their creative potential.
This competition not only increased female students’ interest in visual arts but also contributed to creating a festive atmosphere at the university. Participants, professors, and guests collectively felt the splendor of spring and once again demonstrated respect and admiration for women.
Such creative events at the university help develop young people’s aesthetic taste, increase their interest in art, and cultivate creative thinking.
