Thursday — Youth Day: the “Earth Day” festival was held in a vibrant spirit.
At the initiative of the Department of English Language Theory and Methodology of the Faculty of Philology at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, together with third-year students, an “Earth Day” festival titled “Eco-Walk” was organized at a high level as part of Youth Day.
The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and to develop students’ creativity and social engagement. Participants actively took part in 8 interactive stations.
In particular, at the “Tote Bag Art Studio,” students demonstrated their creativity by decorating bags, while during the “Dorm Gardening” activity, ecological lifestyles were promoted through planting seedlings.
At the “Common Canvas” area, a collective eco-artwork was created for the university.
Additionally, book exchange, quizzes, and prize-based activities generated great interest among students.
At the “Waste-craft” station, various items were created from waste materials, fostering environmental consciousness. As part of the festival, a “Trashion Show” was held, where students showcased outfits they had designed, highlighting their creativity.
The event concluded with a festive atmosphere and left lasting impressions.
