Total Lunar Eclipse: Practical Observation Lesson for Students
On the night of September 7–8, 2025, a total lunar eclipse was observed in our country. At the initiative of the professors and lecturers of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics — R. Ibragimova, F. Dadaboyeva, and U. Isomaddinova, along with other faculty members, an evening astronomical observation session on the topic “Lunar Eclipse” was organized for students of the faculty.
During the observation, students directly watched through the telescope as the Moon entered the shadow zone. The peak of the eclipse occurred at 23:11, when the Moon turned crimson.
This practical session was of great importance for students in consolidating their theoretical knowledge, developing astronomical observation skills, and enhancing their interest in celestial bodies.
