“Tradition and Modernity” – at the center of the roundtable discussion
At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Kokand State University, a roundtable discussion on “Tradition and Modernity” was held. Professors, students and industry experts participated in the event and exchanged views in detail on pressing issues.
At the roundtable, the ancient history of national dress, its uniqueness, and its integration with today’s modern fashion were extensively discussed. Participants shared their views on the culture of dressing, the formation of aesthetic taste, as well as observing codes of conduct and etiquette in society.
Proposals and recommendations were also put forward on preserving national values, instilling them in the minds of young people, and harmonizing them with modern lifestyles.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the harmony of national traditions and modernity is important not only in dressing culture but also in the spiritual life of society.
