Within the framework of the “Green Space” program, 1,000 spruce seedlings were planted
In order to implement the tasks defined within the national autumn program “Green Space — 2025,” Kokand State University carried out another stage of landscaping activities. As part of this initiative, a total of 1,000 pine (spruce) seedlings were planted on a 0.225-hectare vacant land plot located on the territory of the university’s 9th academic building at 2 Yangi Dehqon Street, Kokand city.
In addition, to save drinking water and ensure its efficient use, a modern pumping system designed to irrigate the planted seedlings using groundwater was installed. This initiative contributes to increasing the number of green areas on the university campus, improving the ecological environment, and enhancing environmental awareness among young people.
