Women Scientists Forum

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, observed on February 11, a regional forum entitled “The Role of Women Scientists in the Development of Modern Science” was held at Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies. The event was organized to demonstrate the potential of women working in science, support their research and innovative initiatives, and encourage greater involvement of the younger generation in scientific activities.

The forum brought together representatives of higher education institutions in the region, industry specialists, researchers, and faculty members. In particular, women scientists from Termez University of Economics and Service actively participated in the forum and shared their experience in science and education.

The event featured extensive discussions on the role of women scientists in the development of modern science, their initiatives in innovation, and their achievements in developing research projects and mastering new technologies. Speakers emphasized that ensuring gender equality in science, creating favorable conditions for women to conduct research, and enabling them to fully realize their intellectual potential are among today’s key priorities.
