Zulfiya – The Pride of Uzbek Women
The main purpose of this literary and artistic evening was to widely promote the poet’s works and to further strengthen feelings of patriotism, devotion, elegance, national pride, and spiritual purity in the hearts of the younger generation through her rich and meaningful literary heritage. During the event, detailed information was presented about Zulfiya’s life and creative path, her invaluable contribution to the development of Uzbek literature, and particularly her poems glorifying the image of the Uzbek woman. Special attention was given to the poet’s meaningful life journey and the stages of her creative development, especially her productive literary collaboration with her husband, the talented poet Hamid Olimjon. Their contribution to the development of literature and spirituality was highlighted with illustrative examples.
During the event, students recited poems written by Zulfiya with great skill and expressive delivery. Through stage performances, the ideas of loyalty, love, and resilience reflected in the poet’s works were artistically interpreted. In addition, musical pieces based on her poems were performed, and these performances further enhanced the artistic and aesthetic level of the evening, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
University professors also provided a comprehensive analysis of the educational and spiritual significance of the poet’s works. They emphasized that the qualities reflected in her writings—such as love for the Motherland, the resilience and devotion of women, and the ability to endure life’s challenges—play an important role in the upbringing of today’s youth.
At the conclusion of the event, it was once again acknowledged that Zulfiya is not only a prominent representative of Uzbek literature but also a symbol of the pride of Uzbek women, embodying high spirituality and devotion. This festive composition was highly appreciated as an important cultural and spiritual event that contributes to enhancing students’ artistic taste and fostering respect for national values.
