About the programme

This educational program is designed to provide students with theoretical and practical foundations in acting. The program includes the main elements and genres of acting, the specifics of musical theatre acting, its social, spiritual, and aesthetic significance, as well as their practical application.

Notes:

  1. 1 credit equals 30 academic hours.

  2. GPA is calculated in the third week of August.

  3. The course "Acting Skills" is divided into 7 modules.

  4. The course "Stage Speech" is divided into 6 modules.

  5. The course "Vocal" is divided into 6 modules.

  6. The course "Actor's Work with the Conductor" is divided into 6 modules.

  7. When preparing the working curriculum, it is possible to change the volume of the course blocks by up to 5% and the volume of individual courses within the blocks by up to 10%, while maintaining the total classroom load.

  8. Based on the characteristics of the higher education institutions in the field of art, the courses may be taught individually (1–4 students), in small groups (2–12 students), in groups of 13–25 students, or in large academic groups with up to 100 students.

  9. The final state attestation period includes the defense of the final qualifying thesis.

  10. Practical sessions and laboratory work for specialized courses will be conducted at higher education institutions as well as at partner organizations and enterprises.

  11. To ensure the integrity of theory and practice, students' professional practice will be held at partner organizations and enterprises.

  12. Physical Education and Sports is offered as an elective course.

  13. Concertmeister hours are allocated for the courses specified in the curriculum: Acting Skills, Vocal, Actor's Work with the Conductor, Solo Singing, Dance, Stage Movement and Combat.
