Biology (Bachelor's Programme)
The bachelor's program in Biology offers students the opportunity to study living organisms, their structure and functions, and their interactions with the environment in depth. By combining theoretical knowledge with laboratory and field research, the program is designed to train qualified specialists across the various branches of modern biological science.
The principal aim of this field of study is to train professionals who understand life processes from the molecular level to the level of ecosystems, who are able to conduct scientific research, and who can apply biological knowledge in practice. Students acquire skills in analytical thinking, conducting experiments, and analyzing data on a sound scientific basis.
Throughout the program, students study fundamental disciplines such as botany, zoology, cytology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology, and ecology. The curriculum also covers molecular biology, biotechnology, the theory of evolution, and laboratory and field research methods. Working with modern scientific equipment and developing research methodology skills also occupy a prominent place in the program.
