Design (interior design)

The Department of Interior Design offers a four-year program that combines technical, artistic, and theoretical approaches to developing functional and aesthetically appealing interior spaces. The curriculum is structured to equip students with digital skills, design thinking, spatial understanding, and practical industry experience.

Curriculum Structure:

• Liberal Arts, Mathematics, and Computer Required Courses include English, Korean, programming, history, philosophy, economics, and applied digital tools essential for modern design work.

• Major Required Courses cover fundamentals such as Space and Form, Interior Design, Drawing, Spatial Design (1–5), Lighting, Furniture Design, Materials, Construction, and Community Housing.

• Major Elective Courses allow deeper specialization through advanced digital design, Western architecture history, landscape and environmental design, space media, and internships.

Graduates of this program are well-prepared for careers in interior architecture, space planning, commercial and residential design, or further academic research in design theory and technology.
