About the programme

This educational program aims to provide students with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills in film and television directing. The course covers theoretical foundations of directing for film, television, radio, and mass theater productions, including genre characteristics, actor collaboration, teamwork, editing, visual storytelling, sound recording, and artistic sound design.

The curriculum includes practical sessions, masterclasses with mentors, and creative projects in real studio environments, enabling students to develop essential technical and artistic competencies for a directing career.

Additional notes:

  • 1 credit = 30 academic hours

  • GPA is calculated during the third week of August

  • Courses are divided into modules:

    • “Directing” – 7 modules

    • “Editing” – 7 modules

    • “Acting Skills” – 6 modules

    • “Screenwriting” – 5 modules

    • “Media Studio Practice” – 3 modules

  • Up to 5% of block content and 10% of individual subjects may be adjusted

  • Practical and lab sessions are held at the university and partner institutions

  • Internships are held at partner organizations to ensure integration of theory and practice
