Ecology and environmental protection

Bachelor Full-time 4 year Grant available

About the programme

Ecology is a biological science that studies the interaction of living organisms with their environment. The first ecologists were biologists, who were mainly involved in wildlife conservation and protection of endangered and rare species. Today, the range of activities of specialists in ecology and environmental protection has expanded considerably. It includes optional problems related to the relationship between man and nature. Ecologists study the state of water, land, air, the impact of industrial waste on people, flora and fauna. If the amount of harmful substances exceeds the critical level, they will find out the reasons and predict how the situation will develop. Environmentalists study the consequences of space rocket launches, monitor and control the activities of hazardous products and the use of radioactive waste. They explain the causes of cataclysms in nature and develop ways to reduce human impact on nature as much as possible. But, like everywhere else, paperwork "steals" a lot of their time.
