The programme covers the set of professional fields related to mastering micro- and macroeconomics, economic analysis and forecasting, business economics, labour economics, finance, statistics, econometrics and the fundamentals of the digital economy, studying economic processes across industries and sectors, ensuring the efficient use of resources and providing the economic justification of management decisions. Graduates may work as economists at state and non-state enterprises and in industrial, agricultural, trade and service organisations, as specialists in financial, economic and planning departments, as analysts in banking and insurance institutions, as staff of public administration bodies and statistical agencies, and at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes, higher education institutions and consulting companies.
