Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrical Technologies (by Industry)
The Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrical Technologies programme is a modern degree that prepares
highly qualified engineers for the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, the design of
electrical machines and electromechanical systems, and their effective application across various industrial sectors.
The dual mode of study enables students to combine theoretical preparation with hands-on work at "Uzbekenergo",
"Regional Electric Networks" and industrial enterprises.
Programme Objectives
To prepare broad-based engineers capable of designing, installing and operating power systems, electrical machines,
electric drives and industrial automation. Graduates will be able to create electrical systems that meet modern energy
efficiency and safety standards.

• Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering
• Electrical Machines (AC and DC machines, transformers)
• Power Electronics and Semiconductor Devices
• Electric Drives and Industrial Automation
• Power Systems and Electricity Supply
• Electrical Measurements and Electrical Engineering Materials
• Relay Protection and Automation
• Design in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN and MATLAB Simulink
Skills Acquired:
• Designing power supply systems and performing engineering calculations
• Commissioning and tuning electrical machines and drives
• Operating industrial automation and power equipment
• Developing electrical schematics in specialised CAD software (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical)
• Applying electrical safety codes and international standards in practice
Career Opportunities
Graduates can pursue successful careers as electrical engineers, chief engineers within the "Uzbekenergo" system and
at power plants (thermal and hydroelectric), relay protection engineers at substations and electric networks,
industrial automation engineers, electromechanical engineers at "Almalyk MMC", "Navoi MMC" and at enterprises in the
oil-and-gas and metallurgical sectors, energy efficiency auditors, and technical directors at service and sales
companies of electrical equipment.
