About the programme
The bachelor's program "History" (60220300) is aimed at the in-depth study of world and Uzbek history by students, as well as developing skills for the scientific analysis of historical events and processes. Within this program, students acquire fundamental knowledge of ancient world history, medieval history, modern and contemporary history, as well as the history of Uzbekistan's national independence ideology and statehood.
During their studies, students gain practical skills in searching for, analyzing, and interpreting historical sources, working with archival documents, and using historical-comparative research methods. The educational process includes not only theoretical classes but also archaeological and ethnographic practice, as well as practical sessions in museums and archives.
Graduates have the opportunity to work in general education schools, academic lyceums, vocational colleges, museums, archives, research institutes, and government administration bodies as history teachers, researchers, museum staff, or specialists in historical and cultural heritage. In addition, the program builds a strong foundation for further specialization in specific areas of history (history of Uzbekistan, world history, archaeology, etc.) at the master's level.
Studies are conducted in full-time format at the bachelor's level, using modern teaching methods delivered by qualified faculty.
