60220300 – History (by Countries and Fields). The programme covers the set of professional fields related to the study of the history of Uzbekistan and world history, historical processes from antiquity to the present day, source studies, historiography, archaeology, ethnology, archival studies and the methodology of historical research, as well as the scholarly analysis of historical sources and the teaching of history. Graduates may work as history teachers and lecturers in general secondary, specialised secondary and vocational education institutions of the continuous education system and in higher education institutions, as researchers at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes, as staff of museums, archives, reserves and cultural heritage sites, and in public administration bodies, local and international organisations, the mass media and publishing.
