About the programme
Program goals and objectives:
The goal of this educational program is to form fundamental knowledge and practical skills in the field of information technologies and computing, to train them as highly qualified specialists capable of developing, implementing and applying modern software, automated control systems, databases and artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of nuclear energy, industry and research. A graduate of the bachelor's program will have universal and specialized competencies that meet the requirements of the digital economy and high-tech production.
Field of professional activity:
Creation, implementation and support of computing equipment and information technologies, including the development and implementation of automated control systems for nuclear power plants and energy facilities, industrial controllers, SCADA systems, data acquisition and processing systems, corporate information networks, software products and databases.
Objects of professional activity:
Computers, complexes, systems and networks; automated information and control systems; software and databases; digital modeling and simulation tools; artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms; industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices; information infrastructure of nuclear power and thermal power facilities.
Features of the curriculum:
The educational process is based on fundamental mathematical and programming training and is aimed at developing in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in students. The main disciplines include algorithms and data structures, programming languages (C++, Python), databases, operating systems, computer networks, artificial intelligence and machine learning, fundamentals of cybersecurity, industrial controllers and SCADA systems. The program pays special attention to the digitalization of nuclear power facilities, analytical simulators for NPPs, working with digital duplicators and VR technologies. Graduates have the opportunity to practice at the Uzbek NPP construction project and other high-tech enterprises.
