About the programme
This master's program is designed to prepare highly qualified specialists capable of pursuing academic, pedagogical, and professional careers in the field of Dari linguistics. Students gain advanced knowledge of the phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and stylistic features of the Dari language, as well as comparative linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, and contemporary linguistic research methodologies. Throughout the program, they develop practical skills in conducting independent research, academic writing, working with electronic language corpora, analyzing linguistic data, and applying modern information technologies in linguistic studies. Students also explore the languages and cultures of Afghanistan and Central Asia, intercultural communication, and academic translation. Graduates are well prepared for careers in higher education institutions, research institutes, translation centers, international organizations, government agencies, and international projects.
