Mathematics (by subject)

During the academic program, master’s students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in mathematical analysis, algebra, geometry, differential equations, probability theory and mathematical statistics, numerical methods, mathematical modeling, optimization, discrete mathematics, and modern computational mathematics. In addition, they develop essential skills in solving mathematical problems, designing algorithms, conducting scientific research, and modeling complex systems mathematically.

Learning Outcomes of the Program

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

• carry out teaching activities in higher education, retraining and professional development institutions, as well as vocational education organizations;
• conduct research activities in scientific research institutes and centers of the Academy of Sciences system, as well as higher education institutions;
• perform scientific analysis of mathematical processes and models;
• apply mathematical modeling and optimization methods in economics, engineering, and technology;
• develop and implement algorithms and computational methods;
• plan and conduct scientific research activities;
• analyze and systematize statistical and mathematical data;
• develop and study mathematical models of complex systems;
• solve applied problems using mathematical approaches and provide scientifically grounded conclusions;
• develop scientific and practical proposals for applying mathematical knowledge in various fields.
