Philology and Language Teaching: German Language

The task of the subject (comparative typology) is to demonstrate the stages of historical development of the science, theoretical issues and methods of the science, the choice of the object of comparison, the methods of expression of the categories being compared and their use in speech, to demonstrate ideas related to specific theoretical issues, to be able to justify a critical attitude towards existing ideas, and to teach the basics of comparative methods.
