Those who have studied in this direction will perfectly study the field of social work. Social worker specialists who have completed the bachelor's degree in social work are active in all neighborhoods, vocational schools, public opinion research center “Social thought” in our republic, in the field of government, science and education, and in all management systems of society.

In the 1st year, students study the modern history of Uzbekistan, Russian language, introduction to social work, history of social work, social work with families and children, protection of children's rights in social work, digital and information technologies, foreign language, ethical principles and values of social work and general psychology.

In the 2nd year, students study disciplines such as social policy, social work with persons with disabilities, social work theory, Social work management, Social work in humanitarian crises, Religious studies, social work theory, research methods in social work.

In the 3rd year, students study such subjects as social pedagogy, research methods in social work, social work with various population groups, philosophy, social protection and provision of children and youth, the practice of social work with children without parental care, a number of electives disciplines.

In the 4th year, students study subjects such as social work practice with children without parental care, social work with victims of abuse, social work with older people and a number of elective disciplines.

After successful completion of 4-year studies, the specialty of social worker is awarded.

1 credit is 30 academic hours.

GPA is determined annually in the third week of August.

Military training exercises are held at the expense of the hours of the block of elective subjects (with the condition of mastering the elective subjects), and the military assembly is conducted at the expense of vacation time. The block of elective subjects is determined by the decision of the Higher Education Council from the complex of subjects that ensure the requirements, adaptability and mobility of the labor market and personnel customers.

When creating a working study plan based on the curriculum, while maintaining the weekly volume of the student load, changing the size of the block of academic subjects up to 5%, the volume of the subjects in the blocks up to 10%, and maintaining the total volume of the audience load, free volume of weekly loads in some semesters can be specified.

The term of the final state certification includes the defense of the graduation thesis.

Practical training and laboratory work of subjects related to the specialization included in the curriculum are held in higher education institutions and basic organizations and enterprises.

In order to ensure the integrity of theory and practice, students' qualification practices are conducted in base organizations and enterprises.

Physical education and sports science are organized as a facultative course in sports sections based on the student's voluntary choice.

Course work is carried out on the basis of I credit at the expense of independent study hours allocated to this subject.

1 credit from the modern history of Uzbekistan with 4 credits is given as the history of Samarkand civilization (6 hours of lecture, 6 hours of seminar).

Special courses “Human rights, women’s rights and children’s rights” and “Entrepreneurial skills development" are organized outside of school hours.
