About the programme
Theory and Practice of Translation: Russian is a promising programme for students who want to become professional translators working with Russian and build a career in international communication, business, education, tourism, media and intercultural cooperation.
Students study translation theory and practice, the main foreign language, practical translation, interpreting, written translation, literary translation, terminology translation, specialized translation, intercultural communication, theoretical aspects of the studied language and modern digital translation technologies. The learning process combines academic knowledge, practical training, translation projects and professional practice.
Graduates can work as translators, interpreters, simultaneous interpreters, written translation specialists, editors, localization specialists, staff members of international organizations, and professionals in tourism, media, publishing, business and education. For international students, the annual tuition fee starts from UZS 12,990,000 and may reach up to UZS 18,990,000 in accordance with the established procedure.
