About the programme
The Department of Urban Planning was established in 2024, based on the 1968-founded Department of “Urban Planning and Rural Settlement Planning” at the Faculty of Architecture of Tashkent Polytechnic Institute.
Head of Department: Dr. Arch., Prof. Zarifjon H. Adilov.
Currently, the department’s scientific capacity is 40%. The faculty comprises 18 members: 1 Doctor of Science (Prof.), 1 Professor, 1 Professor (Candidate of Sciences), 2 Candidates of Sciences (Associate Professors), 2 Associate Professors, 3 Acting Associate Professors, 4 Senior Lecturers, and 4 Assistants.

In the last 10 years, the department has released 14 monographs, 20 textbooks, 32 teaching manuals, 800+ research articles, 20+ methodological guidelines, 15 industrial design patents, and 29 authorship certificates.
