Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering

      The Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering was created on May 6, 1991 by Decree of the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov as a result of the separation of the faculties "Architecture", "Industrial and Civil Construction" and "Engineering Construction" of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute named after Beruni.On November 8, 2024, by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev institute was transformed into the Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.The university has four faculties: “Faculty of Architecture”, “Faculty of Technology”, “Faculty of Engineering” and “Faculty of Management”.The university prepares more than 9,000 students in the field of architecture and construction, who study in 14 undergraduate and 19 graduate areas. In the national ranking, the university ranks 5th among technical universities and 11th among universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The university is also in the TOP 1000 in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (968th place).                                                                                                                                                              The university has 298 professors and teachers, including 1 academician of architecture, 82 professors and associate professors. Currently, the university has 96 international agreements and memorandums of cooperation with foreign scientific and educational institutions in countries such as the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Korea, China, Japan, Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and others . There are 45 foreign students studying at the university.The university includes the Academic Lyceum, the College of Architecture and Construction, and the Center for Advanced Training of Professors and Teachers in the Field of Architecture and Construction.The University has an Information Resources Center.The Tashkent CIRC Foundation has about 250,000 books, including 16,849 textbooks and popular science books, and samples of world fiction have also been collected. Also, CIR subscribes to about 100 copies of newspapers and magazines, both republican and foreign publications. There is also a library of foreign literature. The library's collection of books includes more than a thousand copies of literature on the exact and social sciences, most of which are in English, German, French and other languages.

Foreign students are accepted on the basis of an interview without entrance exams. A block-type dormitory for 5 person is provided. A meeting will be arranged at the airport upon arrival. We process and extend visas and registrations (if necessary).
It is possible to use gyms and sports grounds free of charge. The university campus has a dining room with a varied menu and buffets. Students are given the opportunity to visit the University library free of charge. You also have the opportunity to use the services of the Alisher Navoi National Library. The University has a co-working center with computer and relaxation areas, equipped with high-speed Internet. In particular, students are given the opportunity to conduct research in educational and scientific laboratories. During the summer and winter holidays, cultural events and visits to historical cities of Uzbekistan such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and the cities of the Fergana Valley are organized.

The university has a wide range of agreements and collaborates with many international companies and major universities around the world.
