About the university

The branch of Astrakhan State Technical University in the Tashkent region was established in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 6, 2018, No. PQ-3657 "On additional measures for the development of the fish farming industry", the Resolution dated November 3, 2018, No. PQ-3997 "On measures for further expansion of bilateral strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 19, 2019, No. 608 "On the organization of the activities of the branch of Astrakhan State Technical University in the Tashkent region".

The main objective of the branch is to train highly qualified specialists for the development of the fisheries sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The training is conducted based on the educational programs adopted at Astrakhan State Technical University and in accordance with internationally recognized requirements for the quality of higher education, as well as the goals and objectives of the National Program for Personnel Training of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The branch is a separate structural subdivision of Astrakhan State Technical University and a higher education institution that trains specialists at all levels, including academic and teaching staff. The activities of the branch are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

What I gained: In-depth knowledge in macroeconomics and microeconomics, financial analysis, and international management. In 2020, I was admitted on a state grant basis to the Tashkent region branch of Astrakhan State Technical University. From the very first day I stepped into this institution, I set high goals for myself, and during four years of study I not only gained solid knowledge, but also developed as an individual. The modern conditions created at the university, the profound knowledge and experience of highly qualified professors and instructors, as well as the opportunities to participate in scientific and practical projects, further enhanced my intellectual potential. In particular, the attention and support of the university administration, along with the encouragement of student initiatives, gave me great strength and confidence. I deeply realize that behind each of my achievements stands the dedicated work of my mentors and the constant support of the university leadership. One of my most significant achievements during my studies was becoming a recipient of the Beruni State Scholarship. This high recognition was a достой evaluation of my scientific research and academic performance. This success inspired me to strive for even greater accomplishments. As a result of my continuous self-improvement, strong interest in scientific activity, and the recommendations of my mentors, I was also admitted to a master’s program on a state grant basis. During my years as a student, I also achieved a number of accomplishments. In 2023, although I was admitted with relatively low entry scores, this gave me even stronger motivation to explore more and work on myself. Several times, I earned top places in regional chess competitions. In 2024, I was awarded the nomination of “Most Active Student-Athlete of the Year” at the branch. My greatest achievement was receiving the prestigious Islam Karimov scholarship in 2026. This result was the outcome of my research, aspirations, and hard work.
