History of the University
Urgench Ranch Technological University began its activities on November 5, 2021, under license No. 0038, as part of the "UrganchKormmash" joint-stock company. The "UrganchKormmash" joint-stock company was established in September 1981, based on the Lyubertsi production facility of the Uhtomskiy plant in the Moscow region. The university is conveniently located in the city center of Urgench.

The University Today
Currently, the university has over 7,000 students, with 178 highly qualified professors and teachers who provide lessons with a creative approach.
The educational process at the university is fully integrated into the HEMIS information system. Both professors and students effectively utilize this system.
Professors recommended for academic titles are registered through the electronic portal at http://interaktiv.oak.uz, and the topics of their research are regularly published in the OAK bulletin at https://mavzu/oak.uz.
Currently, the construction of a new educational building with a capacity of 12,000 seats is underway, and it is expected to be completed and operational by the end of this year.

     Urgench Ranch University of Technology has established MoUs with several international universities including University of Padua (Italy), University of Barcelona (Spain), University of Lleida (Spain), University of South Bohemia (Czech republic), Western Caspian University (Azerbaijan), University of Ege (Turkiye), Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M.Dulatov (Kazakhstan) to foster academic cooperation and promote mobility. Key agreements with each university include: Exchange of academic staff, researchers and students, collaboration in scientific research and educational programs, participation in conference, seminars and academic meetings, joint organization of postgraduate activities and research groups, joint/distance learning programs in mutual fields of interest, study programs, summer schools, and student internships.

     The academic mobility and its recognition is given in the Regulation of "On the procedure for introducing the credit-module system into the educational process in higher educational institutions of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to improve the system related to the organization of the educational process in higher educational institutions" No. 824 dated December 31, 2020
