A meeting with representatives of Pakistan's education sector was held at Tashkent State University of Law.
An official delegation comprising representatives of the education sector of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was received at a meeting held at Tashkent State University of Law.
During the meeting, the Rector of TSUL, Bakhshillo Khodjaev, spoke about the university's priority areas for developing international cooperation, its joint educational programs, and its activities on the international stage.
In the course of the talks, the parties discussed attracting students from Pakistan to study at TSUL, the educational opportunities available to international students, the development of joint educational programs, and the promotion of the university's international programs in Pakistan.
In addition, Amir Saadati, Executive Director of GEMS Middle East Holding, put forward an initiative to launch a joint PhD program for students from Uzbekistan and Pakistan in cooperation with the University of Greenwich (United Kingdom). The parties agreed to explore the possibility of implementing it.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue on developing student academic mobility, implementing joint educational and research programs, and expanding long-term institutional cooperation.
