A round table discussion was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences on April 22 in honor of International Earth Day. Participants emphasized the importance of environmental protection and harmony with nature to achieve a balance between the economic, social, and ecological needs of current and future generations.

The need to combat land degradation and address other current ecological issues was reiterated, highlighting how essential it is to conserve nature and discussing the significance of environmental protection for humanity.

For reference, International Earth Day was established during the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly and is celebrated annually on April 22 in over 50 countries worldwide
