Cooperation Issues Discussed with Xi’an University of Finance and Economics

On June 2 of this year, an official meeting was held at the Tashkent State University of Economics with a delegation led by Zhao Minjuan, President of the Xi'an University of Finance and Economics, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Uzbekistan–China Association for the Development of Education and Sports, Mr. Wei Jie and Bobirjon Mirzakhmedov. The discussions took place in a constructive and cooperative atmosphere with a delegation headed by TSUE Rector T. Teshabayev.

During the meeting, the parties extensively discussed opportunities to further expand cooperation between the two universities and strengthen the exchange of experience in the fields of education and research. Particular attention was given to the development of academic mobility programs between the higher education systems of Uzbekistan and China, the expansion of faculty and student exchange initiatives, the implementation of joint academic programs, and the enhancement of cooperation in scientific research.

The participants also exchanged views on the joint organization of international scientific conferences and seminars.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached agreements on further developing mutually beneficial cooperation, elevating academic and scientific relations to a new level, and identifying key areas for future practical collaboration.
