Khan Atlas: Harmony of National Values and Traditions
In order to instill a sense of national pride in the youth, strengthen respect and interest in their cultural roots, and promote national costumes, the “Khan Atlas” festival was organized in a vibrant spirit at Kokand State Pedagogical Institute.
Our people’s millennia-old history, ancient customs and traditions, taste, aesthetic views, as well as characteristics reflecting the attire and spirit of our sisters were showcased during the festival. During this event, opinions were shared regarding the uniqueness, naturalness, and delicacy of our national fabrics, such as atlas and adras, and the exquisite taste and functionality of our national costumes. Information was provided about the spiritual virtues characteristic of Uzbek women and girls, including elegance and beauty.
Afterward, artistic performances followed, and various songs and dances prepared by the students were performed, bringing high spirits to everyone.
During the festival, female faculty members and female students of the institute wore colorful outfits such as atlas, adras, begasam, and banoras, demonstrating how national fabrics, customs, and traditions are harmoniously aligned with our rich spiritual values.
