Lawyers of the digital age are trained at Tashkent State University of Law.
As is known, in order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks defined by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 26, 2025 "On measures for the further reform of legal education and science in the Republic of Uzbekistan," starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, the international educational program "Digital Law" has been launched at Tashkent State University of Law.
Students enrolled in the "Digital Law" program, which aims to harmonize legal education with modern technologies and to train highly qualified lawyers capable of working in the digital economy, will acquire knowledge and practical skills in such contemporary areas as:
– legal regulation of digital technologies;
– artificial intelligence and law;
– cybersecurity law;
– personal data protection;
– e-commerce and smart contracts;
– protection of intellectual property in the digital environment;
– resolution of legal issues arising in the digital space;
– norms of international digital law.
During the course of study, theoretical knowledge will be closely linked with practice, and students will be able to gain experience in government bodies, IT companies, fintech organizations, international organizations, and law firms.
