"May Your Values Be Eternal, Navruz!" – Festive Spirit in Kokand.
The nationwide Navruz holiday is also being widely celebrated in Kokand in the form of public festivities under the main theme "May Your Values Be Eternal, Navruz!"
The solemn event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the mayor of the city, M. Usmonov, who noted that this year’s Navruz celebrations are taking place in a unique atmosphere, full of innovation.
In her speech, the rector of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, D. Khodjayeva, emphasized the incomparable role of Navruz in strengthening the feelings of peace, friendship, and brotherhood, as well as in instilling in the people, especially the younger generation, a deep sense of responsibility for the present and future of our homeland.
As part of the festive program prepared by the institute's team, national traditions such as stone lifting, folk songs and poetic duels, the traditional "kelin salom" ceremony, and a fashion show of national attire were showcased.
The cheerful spirit of the spring festival has spread to homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces. May every day be as beautiful, joyful, and meaningful as Navruz!
