Meeting with European Union Representatives: A Step Toward New Educational Opportunities

An official meeting was held at Termez University of Economics and Service with representatives of the European Union and the Erasmus+. The meeting was attended by Mahmudjon O‘tkurov, the Erasmus Office representative in Tashkent, and Kun Klassen, a representative of the Policy, Press and Information Section of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The participants discussed ways to expand opportunities for the university's students to undertake training and participate in academic exchange programmes at European higher education institutions. They also reviewed prospects for increasing the university's involvement in Erasmus initiatives, particularly the Jean Monnet and Erasmus+ projects, establishing new areas of cooperation, and strengthening international academic partnerships.

In addition, the university's Student Union presented its activities and ongoing projects. The parties agreed to broaden the scope of these initiatives and to develop a roadmap for strengthening cooperation between the Student Union and the European Union in the near future.
