Modern approaches to foreign language teaching were discussed at Kokand State University.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology of Kokand State University, a republican scientific-practical conference was held on the topic “Modern Trends in Teaching Foreign Languages in Preschool and Primary Education.” Professors, teachers, researchers, and practicing educators from the country’s leading higher education institutions, preschool education organizations, general education schools, scientific centers, and non-governmental educational institutions took part in the event.
Participants of the conference discussed pressing issues of teaching foreign languages from an early age, integrating advanced international experience into the educational process, effective use of digital learning technologies, improving teachers’ professional skills, and methods of developing communicative competence among students.
Speakers also highlighted the importance of ongoing reforms in foreign language education in our country and emphasized the significance of programs implemented under the initiative of the President.
During the conference, new developments and innovative educational resources created by professors and lecturers were presented. Participants shared their experiences and proposed effective ideas to increase students’ motivation to learn foreign languages and make the learning process more engaging.
At the end of the conference, the most active speakers, participants with innovative ideas, and authors of highly evaluated scientific articles were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
The participants emphasized that such scientific-practical meetings serve as an effective platform for improving the quality of education, supporting young specialists, and exchanging pedagogical experience.
