Scientific achievements and talented youth were recognized
The next Council meeting held at Kokand State University was organized as an important event dedicated to recognizing achievements in science, education, and youth success. It was attended by the university’s professors, researchers, and talented students who achieved success in various subject olympiads, competitions, and sports events, whose results were specially acknowledged.
At the meeting held under the chairmanship of University Vice-Rector Oybek Bozorov, discussions were held on ongoing efforts to enhance the scientific potential of the staff, improve the quality of education, and provide comprehensive support for young people. The achievements of professors and lecturers contributing significantly to the development of science, as well as students who achieved high results in prestigious international and national competitions, olympiads, and sports events, were presented to the public.
During the event, based on relevant decisions of the Higher Attestation Commission, diplomas were ceremonially awarded to professors and lecturers who had been granted academic degrees and titles. This recognition was noted as a worthy assessment of their long-term scientific research, teaching activity, and contribution to the development of national science.
Special attention was also given to revealing the scientific potential of young people and involving them more widely in scientific research and innovation activities. In this regard, winners of the “Al-Farghani” Olympiad who achieved honorable places were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts, along with best wishes for their future success.
It was emphasized that such recognition and encouragement events play an important role in increasing interest in research among both faculty and students and in motivating them toward new achievements.
