Scientists from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology are carrying out scientific and practical work in the Aral Sea region in a phased manner.

As previously reported, agreements were reached between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the mayorships of the Moynoq and Kungrat districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan to study the region's natural resource potential, agreements were reached on exploring the region's natural resource potential, developing the chemical industry, and strengthening the integration of science and production.

To ensure the implementation of these agreements, a working group of the institute's professors, instructors, and scientists, led by A. Erkayev, was sent on a business trip to the Moynaq, Kungrat, and Aral Sea regions from June 12 to 17.

📍 During the service trip:

▪️ existing mineral raw materials and agro-mineral resources were studied;

▪️ salt mines and promising industrial facilities were inspected on-site;

▪️ the ecological problems of the regions and the possibilities for their remediation were analyzed;

▪️ practical meetings were held with local authorities, enterprises, and relevant organizations.

🔍 As a result of the study, effective use of the regions' industrial and scientific potential, production of new products based on local raw materials, concrete proposals were developed for effectively utilizing the regions' industrial and scientific potential, producing new products based on local raw materials, and reducing environmental problems through innovative solutions, as well as for the development of new investment projects.

⚙️ Currently, based on these proposals and agreements, scientific research, technological developments, and practical projects are being gradually implemented.

🔬Scientific and practical work by the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology aimed at enhancing the economic development, ecological stability, and industrial potential of the Aral Sea region is being consistently continued.
