Seminar-Training on the Topic of "Startup and Venture Ecosystem"
A seminar-training dedicated to the startup and venture ecosystem was held at the University of Science and Technologies.
In order to enhance the innovative potential of students and introduce them to modern financial instruments, a seminar-training on the topic of "The Startup and Venture Ecosystem" was organized at the University of Science and Technologies.
The event, initiated by Nozima Masharipova, a lecturer at the "Finance" department, was attended by students majoring in "Finance and Financial Technologies". During the seminar, practical aspects of creating startup projects, attracting investment into them, and developing business ideas through venture capital were discussed in depth.
An industry expert — Sukhrob Gaybullaev, Director of the "Aloqaventures" venture capital fund — was invited as a guest speaker. In his speech, the expert shared vital information regarding the support mechanisms for startup and innovative projects, as well as the contemporary importance of venture financing.
For Reference: The "Aloqaventures" venture fund is one of the leading investment structures in our country, having invested a total of 10.3 million dollars in 77 startup projects to date. Remarkably, the fund's activities are expanding rapidly: in the single year of 2025, 46 projects secured investments amounting to 6.3 million dollars.
At the end of the seminar, students received answers to their questions and gained close insights into the operational principles of the venture ecosystem through real-world project examples. Such events serve to enrich the knowledge of young specialists in the field of innovative entrepreneurship in the future.
